This is where you can get people together who like to read similar types of books and discuss them. They are private groups, and each group will need a moderator.
Each group needs to "specialize" in a particular category (genre) of books (such as sci fi or romance). The moderator can choose the current book to discuss, or members can nominate books, then a poll can be taken to decide which book to discuss.
Moderators can accept requests from others to join their group, or invite others to join them.
